<p><strong>On behalf of Stadler Service Norway, we are looking for an experienced Service Technician!</strong></p><p>Stadler Service Norway AS is looking for an experienced Service Technician to support maintenance operations on the Bybanen rolling stock. </p><p>We are seeking someone with strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to safety and quality.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Main Goals</strong>:<br />• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Bybanen rolling stock with high quality and within deadlines<br />• Contribute to workshop performance indicators: availability, reliability, technical performance, and cost efficiency<br />• Support a team culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement</p><p> </p><p><strong>Main Responsibilities – Technical</strong>:<br />• Perform preventive maintenance according to plans and technical documentation<br />• Conduct fault diagnostics and repairs<br />• Carry out revision tasks such as component replacements and bogie overhauls<br />• Commission and release vehicles after maintenance work<br />• Report faults, incidents, and vandalism to management and document them in the maintenance system</p><p> </p><p><strong>Processes</strong>:<br />• Document all work in the maintenance management system (Zedas and paper protocols)<br />• Update work orders with materials, hours, and detailed descriptions<br />• Participate in continuous improvement and knowledge sharing</p><p> </p><p><strong>Workshop and Logistics</strong>:<br />• Contribute to equipment maintenance and general workshop cleanliness<br />• Support logistics tasks, including receiving deliveries when needed</p><p> </p><p><strong>Safety, Quality and Environment</strong>:<br />• Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues<br />• Check tools, measuring devices, and lifting equipment before use<br />• Report any deviations from safety standards<br />• Comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements</p><p> </p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong>:<br />• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Technician<br />• Certificate of Apprenticeship (Fagbrev) as Electrician, Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, or Industrial Fitter<br />• Fluent English, both spoken and written<br />• Good communication and interpersonal skills<br />• Strong team player<br />• Reliable, structured, and quality‑oriented</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Contract length</strong>: 6 month assignment with possibility of extension or permanent employment</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Please upload diploma and transcripts with your application.</strong></p><p><br /><strong>Folk can offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Good long-term opportunities with our clients</li><li>Individual and adapted follow-up while on assignment</li><li>Good career development opportunities in an interesting and innovative sector</li><li>Competitive terms and conditions</li><li>Social events and pleasant tokens of appreciation throughout the year</li></ul><p><br /><i>We see possibilities in your competence!</i><br />In Folk, we work in accordance with our values: ethical, personal, enthusiastic and flexible.</p><p> </p>
