As a Temporary Warehouse Lead, you'll support Warehouse Supervisors and Managers by leading seasonal team members, keeping daily operations on track, and ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met. </p><p><br/></p><p>You'll be the go-to resource for answering questions, tracking performance, coaching team members, and helping create an engaging, positive work environment. Whether you're recognizing top performers or coaching employees through challenges, you'll play a key role in making our peak season a success. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</strong> </p><ul><li>Partner with Warehouse Supervisors and Managers to ensure smooth, efficient daily operations through effective resource allocation and workflow management. </li><li>Lead seasonal team members by monitoring daily productivity, attendance, and break compliance. </li><li>Communicate daily priorities and expectations, providing direction and support throughout each shift. </li><li>Oversee assigned shipping, packing, inventory, and fulfillment processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to company standards. </li><li>Utilize warehouse systems to monitor productivity, manage inventory, generate reports, and support operational decisions. </li><li>Conduct coaching and corrective action conversations related to performance, attendance, and workplace behavior. </li><li>Assist with onboarding and training seasonal team members during peak season. </li><li>Foster a positive, engaged work environment where employees feel motivated to perform at their best. </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while promoting company safety standards. </li><li>Support warehouse operations by assisting with daily warehouse tasks as business needs require. </li><li>Communicate effectively with HR, Warehouse Supervisors, Managers, and Security to ensure consistent operations and timely resolution of issues. </li></ul><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong> </p><ul><li>Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to seasonal warehouse team members. </li><li>Assist in supervising employees performing shipping, packing, bin running, bin filling, inventory, and other warehouse functions. </li><li>Assist in assigning work, monitor workflow, and ensure productivity goals are achieved. </li><li>Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to support employee performance and development. </li><li>Assist with training and onboarding seasonal employees. </li><li>Carry out responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable employment laws. </li></ul><p>Requirements</p><p> <strong>Basic Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or Equivalent, or currently working toward GED/equivalency</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</strong> </p><ul><li>Ability to coach employees and hold accountability conversations in a professional, respectful, and calm manner, even in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Basic computer proficiency, including typing, Microsoft Excel, timecard systems, and warehouse administration software. </li><li>Experience leading, coaching, or training employees. </li><li>Ability to set priorities, meet goals, and manage multiple responsibilities. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Ability to understand and follow all company safety procedures. </li><li>Flexibility to work in multiple departments based on business needs. </li><li>Demonstrated reliability with excellent attendance. </li><li>Ability to remain calm, patient, and solution-oriented under pressure. </li><li>Willingness and availability to work extended hours, weekends, and overtime during peak season as business demands require. </li></ul><p><strong>Wage:</strong> $15.25/hr now through 9/5/2026 with additional $1/hr following successful completion of Lead training. Effective 9/6/2026, $17 new hire/$18 returner</p><p><br/></p><p>Hired <em>after</em> 9/6/2026, $16/hr new hire and $17/hr returner, with additional $1/hr following successful completion of Lead training.</p>
