Shipping Assistant (Part Time)

<p>Description</p><p>Willamette Valley Vineyards, a leading producer of world-class wines, is seeking an energetic, team player, and customer-focused individual to join our warehouse team as a Direct Sales Shipping Assistant. This is a part-time position working Monday-Thursday, with occasional weekends as needed.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive pay based on experience</li><li>Generous team member discounts on dining, wine, and merchandise</li><li>Continuous growth opportunities within a rapidly growing company</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Assemble and package wine orders to be shipped direct-to-consumer nationwide.</li><li>Pull shipping reports using ShipCompliant and C7 for fulfillment.</li><li>Print shipping labels using C7 and UPS Worldship.</li><li>Assists in shipping inventory, request wine as needed, and notify Wine Club &amp; Ownership Coordinator of any out-of-stocks.</li><li>Helps with the inventory of shipping supplies and orders as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor quality and condition of packaging supplies being received, ensuring all quality standards are met, and document material usage as appropriate.</li><li>Understand and abide by all direct-to-consumer compliance shipping laws by state (Google Doc for reference).</li><li>Check every bottle for label/capsule deficiency, and wrap every bottle in logo tissue</li><li>Help assist in any customer service-related issues as they pertain to shipping.</li><li>Helps reconcile wine inventory in and out of Small Package Shipping for all offsite events in coordination with Off-Site Event Coordinator keeping historical tracking for reference.</li><li>Other duties as assigned by CEO, Winery Director, Estate General Manage, Head Winemaker, and Shipping Coordinator.</li><li>Supports Company’s effort to create a more sustainable, cross-cultural, and “green” environment.</li><li>Maintain neat and orderly work areas.</li><li>Continuously improves with respect to safety, waste, efficiencies, speed, quality, downtime, cost, and other performance measures.</li><li>Observes recycling guidelines and limit the waste of materials and supplies.</li><li>Provide delivery for remote tasting room locations and wine club shipping.</li><li>Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner.</li><li>Multitask, work independently, and as part of a team.</li><li>Work well behind the scenes using discretion and keeping all information confidential.</li><li>Effectively present information and respond to questions appropriately.</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to lift 40lbs&nbsp;</li><li>Stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><p>Willamette Valley Vineyards is an equal opportunity employer, promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.&nbsp;</p><p><br/></p><p>NOTE: The information here does not constitute a contract, express or implied.
