We're on the hunt for an experienced <strong>Payroll Coordinator</strong> to join our accounting team and help keep the engine running for the people who make this company move — literally and figuratively.</p><p>In this role, you'll own the full payroll cycle for 400+ employees: processing, reconciling, reporting, and jumping in wherever the team needs an extra hand. In return, you'll be joining an industry leader that's stable, growing, and genuinely cares about doing right by people and the planet.</p><h4>What You'll Do</h4><p><br/></p><p><strong>Payroll</strong></p><ul><li>Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls accurately and on time for 400+ multi-state employees</li><li>Process monthly payroll for our international location</li><li>Audit timecards and partner with leaders on corrections</li><li>Coordinate payroll software updates and new state setups</li><li>Keep us compliant with federal, state, and local tax laws</li><li>Run regular audits, reconcile reports, and untangle complex payroll discrepancies</li><li>Track leaves of absence and benefit payments</li><li>Maintain clean, accurate payroll records</li><li>Field and resolve payroll questions from employees and managers</li><li>Process manual checks (adjustments, final checks, etc.) as needed</li><li>Draft commission, incentive, and bonus calculations per company process</li><li>Keep communication flowing with HR, employees, and managers</li></ul><p><strong>Accounting Support</strong></p><ul><li>Collect and track sales tax exemption documents in Avalara</li><li>Maintain G/L reconciliations for payroll, benefits, PTO accrual, and other assigned accounts</li><li>Draft journal entries for payroll-related activity, ready for review and posting</li><li>Generate and distribute periodic reports for management</li><li>Pitch in on other duties as they come up</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h4><strong>What You Bring</strong></h4><ul><li>Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field</li><li>Payroll Practitioner Certificate a plus</li><li>5+ years of relevant payroll experience — manufacturing background?
