<p>Description</p><p>The Part-Time Operational Support role provides essential coverage for commissary and vending operations inside the Spartanburg County Detention Facility. This position is cross-trained across multiple operational functions and plays a key role in maintaining smooth, accurate, and secure service delivery.</p><p>Requirements</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Pull and prepare inmate commissary orders</li><li>Receive, label, and stock inbound product</li><li>Unload and load trucks as needed</li><li>Restock and service vending machines throughout the facility</li><li>Deliver commissary orders to inmates following all security protocols</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory and operational records</li><li>Use MSC’s custom software to track issues and run reports</li><li>Assist with basic IT tasks (equipment setup, simple troubleshooting)</li><li>Provide backup support when onsite commissary staff are unavailable</li><li>Communicate effectively with facility staff and MSC leadership</li><li>Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and detention facility regulations</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED required</li><li>Warehouse, operations, vending, commissary, or customer service experience preferred</li><li>Clear background required</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet deadlines</li><li>Basic math skills and inventory awareness</li><li>Comfortable working inside a detention facility</li><li>Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs</li><li>Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift</li><li>Reliable, punctual attendance on scheduled workdays</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive part-time hourly rate of $18.00</li></ul>
