<p>Description</p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>This position is assigned to work in both the front and back office of the clinic. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-past environment while providing excellent care for our patients.</p><p><strong>Back Office Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Conducting blood draws, non-stress tests, injections and completing vitals.</li><li>Assisting in procedural set-ups such Amniocentesis, Cerclage Removal, Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS).</li><li>Scheduling surgeries with local hospitals, verifying times with patients and providers.</li><li>Responding to portal messages between patient and provider</li><li>Patient intake and vital</li><li>Clean and set up exam rooms</li><li>Chaperone exams</li><li>Chart Preparation</li><li>Follow up on labs and specimen collection results</li></ul><p><strong>Front Office Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Welcoming patients by greeting them, in person or on the phone, answering and directing inquiries from patients and referring providers.</li><li>Registering, scheduling, and confirming appointments.</li><li>Verifying patient demographic information and update as needed</li><li>Collecting co-pay and past due balances</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent Customer Service</li><li>MA Certificate</li><li>Patience and Empathy</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office 365</li></ul><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED</li><li>Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program</li><li>Associates degree preferred</li><li>Minimum 3 years required, with OB/GYN preferred</li><li>Experience with EMR system, Athena knowledge a plus</li></ul>
