<p>Description</p><p>Position Overview:</p><p><br/></p><p>We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Battery Installer specializing in Renewable Energy to join our Vacaville team. This role is about more than just technical mastery; we are looking for a professional who takes pride in superior customer service. You will lead the installation and commissioning of residential solar PV and advanced battery systems (Tesla, Enphase, FranklinWH) while acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact for our homeowners.</p><p><br/></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>•Customer Engagement: Serve as the on-site lead, providing homeowners with clear project updates, walkthroughs of their new system, and expert answers to technical questions.</p><p>•System Installation &amp; Integration: Expertly bend conduit (EMT/PVC) and install inverters, disconnects, and sub-panels with a focus on clean aesthetics and home integrity.</p><p>•Advanced Battery Commissioning: Program and commission Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS); educate customers on how to monitor their energy via mobile apps.</p><p>•Main Panel Upgrades (MPU): Perform comprehensive panel upgrades and "de-rate" breakers to ensure full NEC compliance for solar back feed.</p><p>•Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex electrical issues such as string failures, inverter ground faults, and communication disruptions.</p><p>•Compliance &amp; Safety: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA standards (LOTO, fall protection).</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Required Qualifications:</p><p>•Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Required).</p><p>•Experience: 8+ years in the electrical trade, with a proven track record in residential solar and ESS.</p><p>•Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to explain complex electrical concepts to customers in a clear, friendly, and professional manner.</p><p>•Technical Proficiency: Ability to interpret blueprints and SLDs; mastery of conduit bending and panel upgrades.</p><p>•Personal Attributes: High level of integrity and professionalism; detail-oriented regarding both wiring and customer interactions.</p><p>•Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.</p><p><br/></p><p>Compensation and Benefits: Citadel Roofing and Solar offers a competitive compensation package.
