KOKK - Chef De Cuisine - Fulltime

<p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p> <p>We are seeking for highly skilled and experienced Indian curry &amp; tandoori Chefs to join our team at India Tandoori, a premium establishment specializing in authentic Indian cuisine. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience working with Tandoori and traditional Indian cooking methods, especially North Indian, South Indian, and Awadhi cuisines.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul><li> <p>Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, with a focus on Tandoori and traditional Indian flavors.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain high standards of hygiene and kitchen safety.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet the restaurant&#39;s high standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with the kitchen team to innovate and improve the menu.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee the kitchen operations during service and ensure smooth workflow.</p> </li></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul><li> <p>Completed education or degree from a recognized university or college, such as a 3-year Hotel Management degree.</p> </li><li> <p>At least 7 years of relevant professional education and/or work experience in Indian cuisine, particularly in Tandoori cooking and related culinary techniques.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in preparing North Indian, South Indian, and Awadhi cuisine.</p> </li><li> <p>At least half of your practical experience must have been gained working in a restaurant or hotel of a high standard.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques and spices, especially in Tandoori cooking.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.</p> </li></ul> <p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p> <ul><li> <p>Previous experience working in international or upscale restaurants is an advantage.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.</p> </li></ul> <p><strong>Application Process:</strong> Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and educational background.
