Each Hospitality Manager specializes in at least one of three functional areas: Administration &amp; Reporting, Operations &amp; Logistics, or Training &amp; Team Development, while contributing to shared responsibilities across the tasting room.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>COMPENSATION &amp; Reporting</strong></em></p><p>• Interview, hire, schedule, and manage tasting room staff.</p><p>• Track and reconcile daily sales, tips, and cash-handling procedures.</p><p>• Maintain and monitor scheduling software and staff timekeeping records.</p><p>• Report performance data on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to senior leadership.</p><p>• Ensure ongoing compliance with TABC regulations and applicable labor law. &nbsp;</p><p><br/></p><p><em><strong>Operations &amp; Logistics</strong></em></p><p>• Monitor facilities, grounds, parking, and overall environmental presentation.</p><p>• Manage tasting room wine and merchandise inventory, including reorder processes.</p><p>• Oversee execution of events in collaboration with the Wine Club and Events teams.</p><p>• Support menu and guest-experience planning as needed.</p><p>• Direct logistics for tasting room operations and on-site events.</p><p><br/></p><p><em><strong>Training &amp; Team Development</strong></em></p><p>• Provide real-time coaching and performance management using established KPIs.</p><p>• Lead regular team meetings to support morale, communication, and ongoing education.</p><p>• Collaborate with the Director of Education on training programs and elevated guest experiences.</p><p>• Participate in performance reviews, onboarding, and mentorship of new hires.</p><p><br/></p><p><em><strong>Shared Responsibilities</strong></em></p><p>• Maintain the readiness of tasting spaces, including cleanliness, presentation, and inventory.</p><p>• Respond to and resolve guest concerns through effective service recovery.</p><p>• Lead tasting room operations during peak periods.</p><p>• Communicate company vision, values, goals, and culture consistently to the team.</p><p>• Deliver an outstanding experience to members, guests, and prospective members.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><p>• Prior hospitality and/or business leadership experience, or successful completion of the Manager-in-Training (MIT) program.</p><p>• Demonstrated strength in at least one functional area, with expected growth into additional areas over time.</p><p>• Exceptional communication, team-building, and organizational skills.</p><p>• Working knowledge of wine service, hospitality systems, and inventory practices.</p><p>• Proven track record in guest satisfaction, team development, and operational efficiency.</p><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>CORE COMPETENCIES</strong></p><p>• Demonstrates a consistent sense of urgency, positivity, and team-first attitude.</p><p>• Available to work peak business periods, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and select holidays.</p><p>• Creative, outgoing, and skilled in clear, professional communication and leadership.</p><p>• Able to multitask and complete duties, tasks, and projects despite frequent interruptions.</p><p>• Self-starter capable of completing duties, tasks, and projects with minimal supervision.</p><p>• Driven to meet or exceed company goals and to lead a team toward shared results.</p><p>• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. repeatedly.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p><p>• High school diploma or GED equivalent.</p><p>• Minimum 2–5 years of wine industry experience in a customer-facing hospitality role.</p><p>• Minimum 2–5 years of experience planning and executing hospitality events.</p><p>• Ability to communicate clearly with managers, employees, vendors, and guests.</p><p>• Safe Food Handling Certification (Company-provided course available).</p><p>• TABC Server Certification (Company-provided course available).</p><p>• Ability to calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions relevant to business needs.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p><p>• WSET Level 2, CMS Certified Sommelier, or equivalent credential.</p><p>• Experience in an upscale wine program.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT</strong></p><p>• Office environment for administrative work.</p><p>• Climate-controlled indoor tasting rooms.</p><p>• Outdoor events at various locations, not climate controlled.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p><p>• Extended periods of sitting at a desk while using a computer and phone.</p><p>• Extended periods of standing and walking.</p><p>• Ability to negotiate uneven, outdoor surfaces.</p><p>• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. repeatedly.</p><p>Reasonable accommodations may be made, consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Texas law, to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>TRAVEL AND REMOTE WORK</strong></p><p>• Occasional travel to off-site locations;
