Dishwasher/Kitchen Help

<h3><strong>About the position</strong></h3><p></p><p>We are looking for an energetic and positive person to handle the dishes and help out with basic kitchen tasks at our restaurant at Vulkan, Oslo in a part-time postion. </p><p></p><p>You need to be dedicated and have attention to details. We offer full training and there are possibilities for advancement for the right person.</p><p>As a dishwasher in our restaurant you are an integral part og the kitchen and responsible for maintaining cleanliness around the food area. This includes washing and sanitation of all flatware, glassware and china, cleaning grill and ventilation as well as maintaining the dish washing area to meet department of health standards, removing trash, and keeping all exterior trash areas clean.</p><p>In addition to that you will be responsible of kitchen tasks like simple preparing of ingredients, sides and salads, sauces and desserts when needed. </p><p>You will be working closely with the Head chef and Line cooks and all front of house employees to ensure all dishes are properly washed, sanitized, and returned to service.</p><p></p><p>Skills:</p><ul><li><p>Keeps work areas, food storage areas, and garbage area clean and safe at all times.</p></li><li><p>Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served.</p></li><li><p>Reading and following department of health standards and food industry standards.</p></li><li><p>Perform all other duties as required, including prep work or additional tasks as needed.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li><p>Available to work nights, weekends and holidays.</p></li><li><p>Detail oriented and able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.</p></li><li><p>Follows instructions thoroughly.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of the industry and relevant health and safety regulations.</p></li><li><p>Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.</p></li><li><p>Ability to maintain a clean station.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>For those who enjoy rolling up their sleeves, this is a great way to join a professional, high-performing kitchen team, with plenty of opportunities to grow.</p>
