Charlottesville Area Marketing Director

<p>Description</p><p><strong>FLSA Classification</strong>: Exempt</p><p><strong>Reports to</strong>: General Manager</p><p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p><strong>Summary/objective</strong></p><p>The Regional Marketing Director is responsible for the successful production and execution of internal and external marketing projects as directed by the Senior Marketing Director in support of (6)<strong> acac</strong> Charlottesville club locations. This position will be on-site with a home base of <strong>acac</strong> Albemarle Square.</p><p><strong>Essential functions</strong></p><p><em>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.</em></p><ul><li>Design, print and post monthly club marketing materials in support of campaigns, promotions and events.&nbsp;</li><li>Act as primary point of contact for department heads, meeting weekly on a team and individual basis to establish upcoming needs and requests.</li><li>Create, post &amp; analyze daily social media content for assigned clubs social media platforms.</li><li>Maintain compelling and accurate website copy.</li><li>Send weekly emails to promote upcoming events and programs.</li><li>Create and maintain photo/ video library of club events, programs, team, members, current events etc. for use in marketing materials.</li><li>Ensure all marketing materials are in-line with brand standards, professional, interesting and up-to-date.</li><li>Follow the established protocols for marketing projects, including gathering the required information and specs, establishing and adhering to deadlines, submitting work for review and following-through on final production and distribution as needed.</li><li>Collaborate with internal departments in the development, planning and execution of external and internal events and marketing plans.</li><li>Create opportunities for external promotion – including building relationships with businesses in the community, focusing on potential membership events.</li><li>Supervise and mentor one team member.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>Physical demands</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to work with a computer for extended periods of time.</li></ul><p><strong>Required competencies, education, and experience</strong></p><ul><li>2-3 years marketing experience in a fast-paced, production oriented environment.</li><li>Graphic design knowledge / Adobe Creative Suite &amp; Canva.</li><li>Email marketing / copywriting and editing.</li><li>CRM experience preferred – Hubspot.</li><li>Photography / videography experience a plus.</li><li>Event planning.</li><li>Detail oriented and can juggle multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction.</li><li>Excellent project management skills, high attention to detail, and works well in fast-paced environment.</li><li>Experience supervising others (preferred).</li></ul><p><strong>Company Expectations</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Read, sign, and abide by the policies included in the Team Member Handbook</li><li>Park in team member designated areas</li><li>Club cleanliness is an all-team responsibility; assist whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep club neat and clean</li><li>Attend mandatory Personal Training meetings</li><li>Assist with Service Days, as assigned by Supervisor</li><li>Assist with club programs, special events, or activities, as assigned by Supervisor</li><li>Promptly respond to work-related correspondence</li><li>Exhibit a positive attitude at all times</li><li>Deliver outstanding service to members and guests, following <strong>acac’s </strong>Five*Star principles</li></ul><p><strong>Affirmative Action/EEO statement</strong></p><p><strong>acac</strong> is an equal opportunity employer that recruits and hires qualified candidates without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, or veteran status.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Other duties</strong></p><p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
