Assistant Restaurant Manager - Fýri Resort

One moment you&#39;re helping the team through a busy dinner service, the next you&#39;re chatting with guests, solving challenges, or making sure everything is set for another great evening.</p><p>We&#39;re looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager who loves being where it happens – out on the floor, with the team and the guests.</p><p>This role is perfect for someone who&#39;s ready to take the next step in hospitality leadership. Maybe you&#39;re already an Assistant Manager, or perhaps you&#39;re a strong Supervisor or Head Waiter looking for more responsibility.</p><p>Either way, we&#39;re looking for someone who leads by example, enjoys working with people, and wants to be part of creating memorable experiences every day.</p><h2>What you&#39;ll be doing</h2><p>You&#39;ll work closely with our Restaurant Manager and become an important part of the leadership team.</p><p>Some days will be fast-paced, some wonderfully chaotic, and every day different.</p><p>You&#39;ll:</p><ul><li><p>Support the daily operation of the restaurant</p></li><li><p>Be a visible and supportive leader for the team</p></li><li><p>Help onboard and develop new colleagues</p></li><li><p>Make sure guests feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of</p></li><li><p>Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and reception teams</p></li><li><p>Handle feedback and challenges with professionalism and positivity</p></li><li><p>Support scheduling, stock management, and operational planning</p></li><li><p>Contribute ideas that make both the guest and employee experience even better</p></li></ul><h2>Who are you?</h2><p>Most importantly: you&#39;re someone people enjoy working with.</p><p>You take responsibility, stay calm under pressure, and understand that great hospitality starts with teamwork.</p><p>We think you&#39;ll do well in this role if you have:</p><ul><li><p>At least 2 years of experience in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, events, or service operations</p></li><li><p>Previous experience leading, coaching, or supervising a team</p></li><li><p>A genuine passion for guest experiences</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills and a positive attitude</p></li><li><p>Confidence taking initiative and making decisions</p></li><li><p>Fluent English skills</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of a Scandinavian language is a big plus</p></li><li><p>Experience with PMI is a strong advantage</p></li></ul><h2>Why Fýri?</h2><p>Because work should be more than just work.</p><p>At Fýri, you&#39;ll join a team that genuinely cares about creating something special together.
